Shopping strike ?!?

When I moved to New York I said something along the lines of "I have a lot of clothes and will not be buying more in the next few months ...'. Imagine Mum's surprise as I started unpacking this morning:

Mum: "So you haven't been shopping much ....?"

Me: "Mmmmm ... no"

Mum: "Funny then how I don't recognise anything that has come out of your case so far ..."

Oh, yes! Funny that! I had been in a false security mode and complete denial about having added to the already HUGE clothes, shoes, bags, accessory stack.
